Our Captains Lantern Hand-crafted Table Lamp feature the Lambs Navy Rum 1849 Vintage Jug , Pitcher , Decanter Illustrated Black Tot Day ~ This wonderful rum jug by Alfred Lambs dates from the 1970's. The jug is of pressed glass painted in navy blue with a beautiful illustrated belly depicting Naval tall ships in full sail. The back of the jug has a little message about the history of rum in the Royal navy and the ending of the daily rum tot "Black Tot Day" in August 1970.  A lovely collectors piece. The decanter is in lovely vintage condition with only minor wear to the painted decoration. Comes complete witha beautiful lampshade made from a a traditional country wool look fabric. This fabric has a beige and cream herringbone and is popular in the country, contemporary and modern homes. Complete with an in line switch attached to the 1.5m cord provided with BS1363 fitted plug top, 3Amp standard, wired and tested to British Standards. Bulb not included, E14 x 1 required.
