General Safety Information
Electrical installation must be carried out by a trained electrician. The respective national installation regulations must be observed!
Warning! Make sure that the power supply is switched off before beginning assembly!
Prior to electrical installation, the luminaire must be disconnected from the power supply or the fuse to be extracted. Check that the power supply is powered off by using an appropriate measuring device.
Please take note of the following safety information to prevent damage from occurring due to improper assembly or use:
Protection class 1- Luminaires with this symbol must be connected to the protective earthing terminal with the yellow/green earth wire when connecting to the power supply.
Protection class 2 – Luminaires with this symbol do not require an earth wire for safe operation.
Protection class 3 – Luminaires with this symbol may only be operated with safety extra-low voltage (SELV). Connection only to SELV circuits.
ASSEMBLY – The luminaire may only be connected to a power source that corresponds to the technical information supplied with the specific luminaire. Avoid causing damage to the electrical cables for example crushing or accidently screwing through the cable.
DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE LUMINAIRE OR ITS CABLES
IF THE LUMINAIRES OUTER FLEXIBLE CABLE IS DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, DISPOSING OF THE LUMINAIRE IS ESSENTIAL!
DO NOT OPERATE THE LUMINAIRE IF THE LUMINAIRE ITSELF OR THE CONNECTING CABLES ARE VISIBLY DAMAGED!

WARNINGS –
Carefully unpack and place on a stable flat surface.
To prevent electrocution, switch off at the mains supply before installing or maintaining, if in doubt please contact a qualified electrician.
Always use the correct bulb type and wattage in accordance with the rating label on product spec. When changing a bulb always ensure switch is off at the main power supply and allow the bulb to cool down before handling, dispose of bulbs carefully. The bulb and surrounding part can become extremely hot during use. Please retain this information for future reference.
